Assignments — Identity work and design of new digital platform

Brief — In the landfill industry, thousands of tonnes of mass are transported each year. Transportation and handling of such masses can have a major environmental impact, which means that it must be handled appropriately. Pinpointer saw the need to create a one-stop platform for the entire chain between suppliers (sellers), clients (buyers) and transportation (logistics). Therefore, they created a brand new concept and became one of the first in the world to offer this kind of service. SPLIT Stockholm was asked to support with a full scope including branding, identity and UX/UI design work for the platform.

Solution — We started with extensive research that included interviews and a number of workshops on-site with the client to create an understanding of the profession, the product, the market and the client’s strategic goals. Based on the insights and findings, we were able to create user flows and journeys that simplified the process of handling tonnes of mass that travels from suppliers to landfills every day, 24 hours a week, 365 days a year. We also established a new brand identity that breathes modernity, functionality and credibility.
